Why is my grass yellow in the spring

In spring, all lawns green up at different rates due to ground temperature, soil type, and seed type.  Your lawn is still dormant and may take more or less time than your neighbors' or surrounding lawns.

There is nothing wrong with your lawn.  Be patient and within due time, the grass will be just as green as it was at the end of last season.
